This is the second of our new weekly
updates concerning the upcoming CBOT product migration, which is now
only one month away from tomorrow.
Several quote vendors we have contacted are still in
the process of configuring their networks and applications to handle the CBOT data via CME MDP and
won’t be ready to participate in this Saturday’s second of five
mandatory
Mock Trading Sessions.
It is critically important to note
that failure to participate in the next 3 mandatory Mock Trading sessions and five Ticker Tests
listed below may
severely impede your ability to successfully complete
the migration by January 11, 2008.
THERE ARE NO PLANS TO SEND THIS DATA
IN PARALLEL VIA CBOT QVN AND CME MDP AFTER THE MIGRATION DEADLINES!
On
January 13, 2008
market data for designated e-cbot products will
only be sent to you via CME MDP
, per the previously published
migration
schedule. The remaining e-cbot products will be migrated on Sunday, January 27, 2008, followed
by the migration of floor-traded products in February 2008.
If for any reason you are not able to
take the CBOT products via CME MDP, the only alternative for getting this data will be from another
quote vendor that has successfully migrated.
Please take a moment to complete the
CBOT Migration
Readiness Survey that was due this past Monday, December 10, 2007.
Completion of this survey is essential so that we
understand your current state of migration readiness and can assist you in any manner you may
require.
